We will be selecting six residents for Summer 2020 on a “first qualified, first selected” basis.

AIR.CAT welcomes international applicants of diverse arts and design backgrounds , age 18 and older. The 2020 program will be accepting up to six residents. The ideal applicant is an experienced visual artist who is familiar -if not preoccupied- with the world of contemporary art and its vicissitudes. We also welcome applications from video artists and film-makers, writers/poets and musicians/performing artists.
CV or Resume in PDF in the following format: name, date of birth, city of residence, educational history, solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and press bibliography.

Describe your artistic practice and why an AIR.CAT residency would specifically benefit your work.
Samples of Art Work
Submit seven examples of current artwork including painting, sculpture, installation, site-specific, architecture, digital media, video, photography, or drawing. Use the digital format of 72 dpi, maximum file size 1MB. File names must follow this format: 01_LastName.jpeg
Video samples must be limited to three minute excerpts.
Include a PDF describing each corresponding jpeg or video listing the number, title, year, medium, dimensions, and a short description if applicable.
Name, title and email addresses of three professional references who may be contacted.
Deposits will be fully refunded at the start of the residency. Instructions will follow upon acceptance.
